Fall 2023 Registration

In the Fall 2023 Semester, BAP representatives will begin accepting candidate applications starting on August 28 , 2023 at Bookstein Hall BAP table!

Membership Requirements

GPA Requirement:

Undergraduate Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in ACCT 350 (Accounting Majors), or FIN 303 (Finance Majors), or IS 312 (Information Systems Majors):

  1. Major GPA ≥ 3.30 and

  2. Overall GPA ≥ 3.30 or a GPA of ≥ 3.30 in the most recent 30 units completed

     

  • Completed first respective major course (ACCT 350 or FIN 303 or IS 312)

  1. Major GPA ≥ 3.10 and

  2. Upper division major GPA ≥ 3.10 and

  3. Overall GPA ≥ 3.10 or a GPA of ≥ 3.10 in the most recent 30 units completed

Graduate Requirements* (MPACC & MST)

  • Currently enrolled in ACCT 620A (MPACC), or ACCT 520 (MST) :

  1. Major GPA ≥ 3.30 and

  2. Overall GPA ≥ 3.30 or a GPA of ≥ 3.30 in the most recent 30 units completed

     

  • Completed first respective major course (ACCT 620A or ACCT 520)

  1. Major GPA ≥ 3.10 and

  2. Graduate GPA ≥ 3.10 and

  3. Overall GPA ≥ 3.10 or a GPA of ≥ 3.10 in the most recent 30 units completed

*Graduate students who are on academic probation or have been disqualified from the MPACC/MST program are ineligible for membership.

Membership Fees:

  • First-time candidates are required to pay a one-time candidate fee of $100**. A portion of this amount is paid out to the international organization for your lifetime membership. 

  • Returning candidates, members and initiates pay $40** dues every semester. 

Note: You are not required to pay for membership until your application and transcripts have been reviewed by the faculty advisor and you received an email to confirm your acceptance into the club.  

 

Application Process:

  • You may sign-up for membership virtually via Zoom or in person at Bookstein Hall during our table sitting hours. 

  • Returning members only: you must pay $40** every semester, regardless of membership status. 

  • New members only: once the faculty advisor has confirmed your acceptance into Beta Alpha Psi, you will be invited to Candidate Integration Day where you can pay the initial $100** membership fee and be initiated into the club as a candidate.
